On Saturday 9 April we took part for the third year running in the annual WOT’S ON IN WEST WICKHAM.
“WOT’S ON” is organised by the West Wickham Rotary Club and is designed to showcase and increase membership of the wide range of different activities available in the area. Participating groups include theatre performers, dance and sports clubs as well as other organisations such as the scuba diving club, the Scouts, wine circle, photography society and many others.
Chris and Mark manned the Knights of Fire stand and spent three hours talking to visitors about what we do and how the fireworks industry has changed, with a lot of visitors talking about “the gold old days” when fireworks were noisier (yes, really) and members of the public could still buy shells for their own displays. Below are our team photos!
It’s March. Not the warmest of months. Not the driest either! But that never stopped us. So we were out on a Thursday evening for an 18th birthday party fireworks spectacular just before the long Easter weekend. And great fun it was too. Firing site was tight so we had to pick the material very carefully and be creative in our approach. Everyone enjoyed the show and a very happy birthday party for the client!
If you’d like fireworks for any of your celebrations then drop us a line – details on the Contact page and prices on the Prices page.
Some great footage from the camera at the front of the display as well as some drone footage interwoven in. Many thanks to Steve Sangster for the drone shots – you can see more of his work on Twitter @SteveSangster.
It is cold. The weather is a bit rubbish. If you’re planning your wedding or a special event for 2016 and would like fireworks (of the good sort) then we are re-running our special winter promotion from 2015. This gives new clients a 10% discount on our normal prices. This is a limited offer promotion until 1 March and subject to our usual terms and conditions and the venue agreeing to have a display. Normal prices can be found here. Just get in touch with us and we can go from there!
On 1 November we fired the St David’s College annual fireworks display. You can see some of the set up shots from the display here. We’ve finally managed to get the videos edited from the display so below is part one with part two to follow as soon as we can get it completed. Enjoy!
Here we are – some of the photos from our display on Saturday 7 November 2015 at Langley Park School for Girls for the school’s PSA and Rotary Club of West Wickham and Langley Park School for Girls. What looked like a record crowd attended – around 4,000 people – making it one of the best displays in the area. One spectator described it as one of the best displays he has ever seen while another called it “fantastic!”. We even had dancing to Madonna!
