After a bit of blood, sweat and tears – and software updates – we have the video from the display at Club Langley for the West Wickham Rotary Club. A great show featuring tracks by Muse, Ellie King, Adele, David Bowie, and finishing with Prince’s “Purple Rain”. There was great feedback from the crowd, they really loved it with one person saying: “It was a fantastic display and so well choreographed to the music.” Enjoy.
So, the shows are nearly designed and fully prepped for the November fireworks season and we are really looking forward to seeing everyone for a series of spectacular firework displays.
We start on 3 November at The Friends of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School down in Rottingdean followed on 5 November by West Wickham Rotary Club at Club Langley in West Wickham and finishing off with St David’s College, also in West Wickham, on 12 November. We are also out and about helping on various other displays as well so may see you there.
It’s March. Not the warmest of months. Not the driest either! But that never stopped us. So we were out on a Thursday evening for an 18th birthday party fireworks spectacular just before the long Easter weekend. And great fun it was too. Firing site was tight so we had to pick the material very carefully and be creative in our approach. Everyone enjoyed the show and a very happy birthday party for the client!
So. It took a little while to get done, but here we have it. The video footage from the 2015 display at Langley Park School for Girls on behalf of the Rotary Club of West Wickham and the school’s PTA. You can see more about the display here and here.
Some great footage from the camera at the front of the display as well as some drone footage interwoven in. Many thanks to Steve Sangster for the drone shots – you can see more of his work on Twitter @.
Enjoy the video!
So… just gearing up for the November season. Our first show is out at St David’s College in West Wickham on Sunday 1 November. This is a long-standing private display for the school’s PTA and one with special significance for us as the Knights of Fire team are either are Old Davidians or have had children at the school.
In different ways we have had a link to the school for the last 50 years and 40 years helping with or organising their annual fireworks display.
